This dedicated cycleway will give thousands of people the confidence to safely cycle from the southern and eastern suburbs into the city.
This important project will also calm traffic, create a separation that makes the footpath more pleasant and increases the number of people using the street, which will greatly improve Oxford Street for pedestrians and businesses.
We expect the work between Taylor Square and Castlereagh Street to be complete by the end of the year, weather and other conditions permitting.
