Last week I officially opened the Greenhouse Climate Tech Hub, which was made possible through collaboration between the City and Lendlease during the planning of Salesforce Tower.
Greenhouse is where about 400 innovators, ecopreneurs, investors, governments, climate action groups, academics, researchers, and committed corporates are collaborating on solutions to the world’s most serious climate problems.
This innovation is backed by a $31 million, 10-year investment from the City, illustrating our commitment to:
- Push the commercialisation of innovative climate change solutions
- Increase the success rates of climate tech startups with Australian intellectual property and,
- Help climate tech startups reach overseas markets and attract investment.
The hub will not only strengthen businesses in this city but help the world achieve net zero emissions. This is good for the planet, and very good for business in this city.
