We are committed to working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to redress the ongoing impact of Invasion.

First Nations Justice

The City's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Panel provides advice on all City activity.

Our Eora Journey has delivered 11 public art works and support for major events such as Yabun and NAIDOC in the City.

We acquired the former Redfern Post Office to repurpose as an Aboriginal Culture and Learning Centre.

Our Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan has significantly increased our First Nations procurement and workforce and we have recently introduced a new Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Collaboration Fund to provide grants for community-led projects and initiatives.
