  • Opened Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre in Green Square, the stunning new complex has outdoor and indoor pools, children’s waterplay, a hydrotherapy pool with disability access, large gym and yoga areas, and a multi-purpose sports field. The largest Aquatic Centre development in Sydney since the 2000 Olympics. 
  • Painted the rainbow pathway at the bottom of Equality Green in Prince Alfred Park, to celebrate the area where thousands gathered to hear the successful result of the nationwide survey.
  • Launched Sunset Piazza, two months of performances on Cathedral Square to encourage people to come back into the city and provide badly needed work for actors and musicians. This was supported and encouraged by the NSW State Government.
