  • Solar panels installed on Sydney Town Hall and more efficient LED street lighting trialled.
  • King Street cycleway opened and 70 new car share spaces
  • Public works completed include:
    • New Surry Hills Library and Community Centre, replacing an outdated neighbourhood centre.
    • Long neglected Paddington Reservoir Gardens, and Sydney heritage restored as a series of parks and exhibition and performance spaces.
    • Pirrama Park completed on harbour foreshore land purchased by the city.
    • Glebe Point Road improvements, together with the restoration of Foley Park and its war memorial.
    • Aspire, a new public artwork by Warren Langley launched under the freeway at Ultimo.
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Panel formally established to help recognise and celebrate first peoples lives in our city.
